The 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship was a premier international tournament held from 26 August to 11 September 2022, showcasing top national teams competing for the world title. The event's opening titles, produced by WORKS, featured dynamic lightning effects to convey energy and excitement.
My Role: Motion Graphics Designer and VFX Artist
In collaboration with WORKS, I was responsible for:
• Lightning Effects: Designed and implemented dynamic lightning animations to enhance the visual impact of the opening titles.
• Trophy Lighting and Shading: Developed realistic lighting and shading for the championship trophy, ensuring it was a focal point in the sequence.
• Tools Utilized: Employed Houdini for procedural effects and Blender for modeling, texturing, and rendering, achieving a seamless integration of elements.
This project required a combination of artistic creativity and technical proficiency to deliver an impactful introduction to this sporting event.
