The AT&T Discovery District in downtown Dallas is a vibrant public space where technology, culture, and entertainment converge to create immersive experiences. A central feature is the seven-story media wall, which transforms the building façade into a multidimensional anamorphic portal displaying various captivating capsules.
My Role: Motion Graphics And Technical Artist
I Collaborated with moment factory AND contributed to the "CONNEXION" capsule, an artistic representation of human connections through elegant, intertwining threads symbolising human connections.
My responsibilities included:
• Motion Graphics: Utilised Houdini and Unreal Engine to design and animate the threads.
• Rendering and Shading: Developed and applied shaders in Unreal Engine to achieve the desired visual aesthetics and realism.
• Tool Development: Built tools to automate colour palette selection and randomise camera sequences, ensuring smooth transitions and dynamic visuals.
This project required a blend of technical proficiency and creative vision to produce a compelling visual narrative that aligns with the Discovery District's innovative atmosphere.
