Singapore Changi Airport is celebrated as one of the world’s most innovative and engaging airports, offering unique attractions that elevate the travel experience. Among these is The Wonderfall, a 14-metre-tall digital waterfall that captivates Travelleers with its hyper-realistic water simulations and serene visuals.
My Role: WATER Simulation and Motion Graphics R&D
Collaborating with Moment Factory, I focused on research and development for 'The Wonderfall' installation. My contributions included:
• Waterfall Simulation: Utilized Houdini to create realistic simulations of water flow, capturing the fluidity and dynamics of a natural waterfall.
• Motion Graphics: Conducted research in houdini to develop motion graphics that seamlessly integrate with the architectural design
This project required an understanding of fluid dynamics and procedural motion graphics to produce a digital installation that resonates with Changi Airport's commitment to creating memorable experiences for its visitors.
