Five environments were created: desert, forest, cyberpunk city, retro city, and a cave. They were cued through Sequencer with level visibility toggles to switch between them. The video is built as a single continuous shot, with every transition hidden so the whole thing reads as filmed in one take. That meant the environment changes had to disappear inside the take itself, with no cuts to hide behind.
Tracking ran on Vicon, and at one point in the shoot, inside a caravan, the system would lose tracking entirely. We solved the issue it would bring with the inner frustum by tracking the nDisplay default viewpoint instead of the camera, which kept the environment stable through the gap.
I later operated the same five environments for the ARRI Stage demos that followed, running them live to illustrate the stage's sales pitch to prospective clients.
